Purple Importer
To initiate the SFTP import process, Purple users must create an account tailored to their needs. Account creation is coordinated by the Customer Success Team. The granularity of access rights is customisable based on the customer's preferences. The account creation will be coordinated via the ticket system of our Support Helpdesk.
- Upon request from the Purple User, the Purple team will create the SFTP account.
- Once the account creation process is initiated, Purple users provide initial details for account setup.
- The Customer Success team facilitates the creation of SFTP accounts and provides customers with the necessary access credentials.
- Access to the SFTP account allows Purple Users to perform two primary functions:
- Use compatible SFTP tools to upload files directly to the designated account.
- Configure the account to recognise specific import formats, facilitating automated processing by the importer.
- The credentials are used for the Purple Importer and the Purple Monitoring Server to monitor the import process.
- We advise Purple Customers to also directly set up the Purple Alert Service to get notifications incases of importing errors.
