## Summary

When your Hub has multiple custom post types, you can configure a separate preview URL for each one. This is useful when different post types live on different frontend domains or use different URL patterns.

## Preconditions

- Have the Administrator role in Purple Hub
- Have **Use external URL for preview** configured with a base URL in Settings → Purple DS HUB

## Configuration

In **Settings → Purple DS HUB**, under **Use external URL for preview**, check the **Configure per Custom Post Type** checkbox. A collapsible **Post Types** section will expand, listing all available post types. Enter the desired preview URL for each post type. Any post type left blank falls back to the base external URL.

The `<id>` placeholder in each URL is replaced with the headlessId of the post at preview time.

## Constraint

**Configure per Custom Post Type** and **Configure per language** are mutually exclusive — enabling one automatically disables the other.
