Purple DAM Plus is the paid tier of Purple DAM. It unlocks advanced media management features on top of the standard Media Library experience.

External Sources, like Hugo+ Integration or Picture Alliance can be displayed within the Editor. This can be set up under Settings > Media > Integrations

Media can be linked to specific articles during or after upload using the Target Article field. Linked assets surface first in the Material Sammlung sidebar when the Media Library is opened from within that article.

When opening an insert media pop-up, then a searchterm is automatically generated based upon the content of the written text.

AI Image Editing brings AI-powered image creation and editing directly into Purple DAM. Generate new images from text prompts, create variants or combinations of existing assets, and apply AI-based edits without leaving the Media Library. Requires Purple Prompts to be activated.

Image Usage tracking shows where each image is used across the site (article content, featured images, ACF fields), both for a single image in its File Detail view and as a combined total for a filtered set of images in the Media Library.

During upload, or when opening the image file details, AI can analyse the image, the attached IPTC/EXIF metadata and generate all other metadata like title, caption, alt-text, ACFs and Custom Taxonomies.

When uploading an image, a check has been performed if duplicates of the media file already exist, preventing uploading of the file.
