Rich-Text Revisions

1min

To enable the Rich-Text revisions, you need to open the Hub settings and check the box at "Enable RichText Revisions View" and save the settings. Afterwards, the richt-text revisions are displayed in place of the default revisions view.

To access the revisions of an article, click on the number of revisions in the article editor sidebar:

This opens the revisions view:

The screenshot displays the default rich text view of revisions. Added content appears in green, while deleted content is shown in grey with a strikethrough. This color coding also applies to images—green for additions and grey for removals.

If you prefer a code-based comparison, you can enable the "Show code" option. Additionally, you are not limited to comparing consecutive revisions; you can compare any two revisions by selecting "Compare any two revisions".

To restore a previous revision, select the desired version and click "Restore this revision". If your post is already published, you will need to click the "Update" button in the editor to overwrite your current version with the revision. Otherwise, the changes aren't applied.

Placeholders

For some special tags, instead of showing the rendered html, a placeholder is displayed. This concerns the blocks "Carousel", "Video" and "Audio".
