Explanation

To create world-class websites, Purple Experience (PXP) provides an extensive toolbox for creating pages with different user patterns. Mostly, you will use Purple Experience Builder to define your Websites and Apps behaviour and design.

We recommend that you start your UX and design process from a mobile perspective, as this is where you have the smallest screens and the greatest limitations in terms of content presentation. It is wise to take SEO and Accessibility measures into account from the start.

Typical designs consist of pages that provide an overview of a range of content (e.g. the home page) and pages that display a single main piece of content (e.g. an article page). Each page is defined by a View, utilising Components and their corresponding data sources.

Different components such as an app bar, menus to navigate to different categories of content, and a main content area that displays the most important content at the top, similar content in sections, or sliders depending on your desired user patterns. Sometimes a bottom navigation is also used to navigate to different types of content.

Purple Experience provides a number of Components that may be combined to create the desired pages and apps. Inspecting Components is possible from preview instances, so that the building of Purple Experiences becomes rather easy. Behaviour and available data can be verified.
