Configuration of Vendor-IDs for native apps
With any CMP solution configured in Purple Manager, you'll need to set up vendor ids to make sure content is correctly requested.
For those tracking analytics services, which you have enabled in Purple Manager (e.g. Firebase) for your app, you will now configure this service (e.g. Firebase) as a vendor.
To do so,
- Go to your Consent Management platform (e.g. Sourcepoint or Consentmanager)
- Configure your desired tracking analytics service as a vendor (e.g. Firebase)
- Copy the created Vendor ID
- Paste it into the field of the corresponding service in Purple Manager. Each SDK's Vendor-ID field sits directly under that SDK's own settings in Purple Manager, next to its other properties. From app template class 2026.2 onward, each SDK also has an IAB Vendor-ID field directly below its Vendor-ID. Use this if your CMP identifies vendors by their IAB vendor ID instead of (or alongside) the vendor-specific ID — both can be set at the same time.
- Enter the vendor ID for every tracking analytics service which you have enabled for your app in Purple Manager
- Save your changes
- Rebuild the app, test it and resubmit it to the app stores
Configuration of Vendor-IDs for stand alone web integration
The above configuration only applies to native applications. For Purple Experience as a standalone web integration, the Vendor-IDs are configured in the "experience.config.json" file. Please read the specific documentation of the used tracking service to find out how this is done.
