Set the iOS privacy alert

13min

Summary

In this article, you learn how to enable the iOS privacy alert for your app and to optionally display an HTML before the dialogue appears. With iOS 14 and higher, iOS apps need to have a privacy dialogue displayed once before the app can be launched for the first time.

If you want to apply this change for your Purple App, you have to rebuild the app. It demands a new submit in the apps store, to make the change visible to your users.

Preconditions

  • Have an app created in Purple Manager
  • Have at least 'App Admin' role in Purple Manager
  • Make sure to be well-informed about the impact the enablement of the dialog for specific SDKs has. We advise you to read this article first, before taking the action to enable the dialog.
