Purple is on the move - we are constantly working to improve our Publishing Suite to make it even more valuable to you. Here is a weekly summary of all the new features, improvements, updates and bug fixes included in the releases.
Deployment schedule
Purple Hub deployments are processed on Mondays, every two weeks, alternating between late night (23:00) and early morning (06:30) deployment times, both CEST.
Purple Content Cloud deployments take place every Monday between 10am and 11am CEST.
There are no deployments on public holidays in Berlin.

New user role "Hub Editor" is now also available for use in the Purple Hub
The Hub Editor role will be created in Purple Manager and will also be accessible in the Purple Hub, allowing users with this role to automatically log in to the Purple Hub. This role is designed for Hub Users who primarily work within the Purple Hub and do not require permissions to make changes in Purple Manager.

We have made updates to enhance the login experience and improve communication through email notifications for smoother user interaction.
Design: We have adjusted text, buttons and visual design to make the steps clearer and more appealing.

New Hub Editor role in Purple Manager
From this Monday, you'll see the new Hub Editor role option available in Purple Manager.
Key details:
Availability: You will be able to select the Hub Editor role in Purple Manager from Monday 18 November.
Activation: Role permissions will go live the following week, on Monday 25 November, after the scheduled Purple Hub release.
The Hub Editor role will be created in Purple Manager and will also be accessible in the Purple Hub, allowing users with this role to automatically log in to the Purple Hub. This role is designed for Hub Users who primarily work within the Purple Hub and do not require permissions to make changes in Purple Manager.

When working in a multi-language Hub, the timezone is displayed at all times in the editor, post-overview, and when setting the publish date.
This allows the editors to know at all times when specific content is scheduled for.

The new Purple Wires overview has been expanded to include a quick view of the content's first two lines, and the word/character count has been directly displayed. Additionally, search terms are highlighted in the overview.

The prompt to "save" an article has been removed when nothing has been changed. Now, when just viewing and exiting an article immediately, users will no longer be prompted to save "unsaved changes".

Key details: Availability: You will be able to select the Hub Editor role in Purple Manager from Monday 18 November. Activation: Role permissions will go live the following week, on Monday 25 November, after the scheduled Purple Hub release. The Hub Editor role will be created in Purple Manager and will also be accessible in the Purple Hub, allowing users with this role to automatically log in to the Purple Hub. This role is designed for Hub Users who primarily work within the Purple Hub and do not require permissions to make changes in Purple Manager. New Feature ⭐	The new Purple Wires overview has been expanded to include a quick view of the content's first two lines, and the word/character count has been directly displayed. Additionally, search terms are highlighted in the overview.
