How to report an error

Summary

This document is a guide to submitting a support ticket as an error report to the Purple. Support Helpdesk.



Preconditions

  • Have an account with your company email address to the Purple Helpdesk
  • Are familiar with the Support Categories so that you can classify your error


How to

1. Open the link of the Purple Helpdesk in your browser: https://support.purplepublish.com/en/support/home

2. Click on 'New support ticket'

3. Next to 'Company' enter the name of your organization

4. Next to 'App / Project name' enter the name of your app and/or project

5. Next to 'Subject' enter a summary of what the error is about

6. Next to 'Description' describe your identified error (see Error description)

7. Click on 'Attach a file' and upload e.g. a screenshot of the error

8. Next to 'Support category' select the appropriate error category (see Support Categories) from the dropdown
