MFA: Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as a user
Purple Hub
As a user, you can enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in any role to help secure your account. This means that every time you log in to the Purple Platform, you'll need to confirm your identity with a second device to prevent your credentials from being misused.
This article will guide you through setting up two-factor authentication with a third-party authenticator.
- This article describes how to enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) from Purple Hub. It works the same way in Purple Manager by clicking on your profile in the top right corner.
- Once enabled, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) will always apply to your user within the entire Purple platform, not just the product component in which you've previously enabled it, as it is coupled with single sign-on across Purple.
Download one of these third-party authenticators to your mobile device:
- FreeOTP, or Microsoft Authenticator, or Google Authenticator
