MFA: Reset the OTP Device for a Team Member
Purple Manager
Account Admins in Purple Manager have the ability to reset their users' One Time Password (OTP) devices. If 'Force MFA' (Multi-Factor Authentication) is enabled for your team, Account Admins can allow users to register a new OTP device if the original is lost, or to bypass the OTP step during login if it is no longer required.
In Purple Manager, this feature is available via a button in the team member details view for users who have an OTP device configured.
Clicking this button will display a confirmation dialogue. Once confirmed, the user's OTP device will be deleted, allowing them to set up a new device to verify their identity on the next login.
If there isn't such button visible in Purple Manager, the user hasn't yet registered an OTP device.
