In this article, you will learn how to add an audio file to an existing article in Purple Hub. You will add the audio block to your article, choose an audio file from the Media Gallery, add a caption and save the article as a draft.

Preconditions

  • Have an article created in Purple Hub
  • Have an audio file uploaded to your media gallery
  • Have the Purple Editor role


How-to guide

1. Go to Purple Hub and click on 'Purple Feed'

2. Click on 'Articles'

3. Choose an article from the list and click on it

4. Within the article, click on any place until the plus symbol '+' appears. Click on it to add a new block.

5. Choose the block 'Audio' from the list and click on it

6. Click on 'Media Library'

7. Choose your Audio File from the list and click on it

8. Next to caption, add a caption text for your Audio file

9. Click on 'Select'

10. Click on 'Save Draft'

11. You have successfully added an audio file to your article and saved it as a draft
