Menus in Purple Hub

Purple Hub

Summary

In this article, you will learn how to set up the menu in Purple Hub.

Preconditions

  • Have Admin role in Purple Hub

Explanation

The Purple Hub works with the Standard WordPress Menu, which you can find in the external WordPress User Guide.

You have the option to add pages, articles, categories and external links to your menu and define if your menu should be placed into the header or footer. Due to the headless-CMS solution, the menu itself won't be visible to you in Purple Hub at any time, but only the settings. You can request the menu via Catalog API and make it visible in your frontend.

The moment you click on 'Save Menu' in the menu settings, the changes to the menu are automatically published in the public database. The 'Menu Display Location' (Header/Footer) is also synchronized as information for the frontend and transferred to the Public database.
