Autosave frequency in Purple Hub
3min
Purple Hub
Autosave is a process that happens by default in Purple Hub. The purpose of Autosave is to save your work in progress in case something unexpected happens while you are editing a page or post. Autosave works automatically in the background, even if you do not click the Save Draft button. This article explains how the feature works.
- The behaviour is that when you make a change within a post in Purple Hub, it is automatically saved at pre-defined intervals.
- By default, autosave is set to happen automatically every 60 seconds
- You can set the autosave frequency to max. 30 seconds and min. 10 minutes.
- The autosave frequency in Purple Hub is adjustable, with an 'Administrator' role
- No matter what autosave interval you choose, you must manually save the draft (or publish the post) while editing.
- A shorter interval will slightly reduce the performance of your Purple Hub due to more frequent calls on the platform.
- The Autosave setting can be changed by an Administrator in 'Purple Hub' -> 'Settings' -> 'Purple DS HUB Settings' -> 'Gutenberg Editor Settings' -> 'Autosave Interval'
