the hub ui settings page lets you configure the purple hub interface you'll find it under settings → settings → hub ui this page is restricted to super admins all changes save automatically — confirmed by a loading animation and green checkmark in the upper right corner every setting has an (i) icon with a tooltip explanation activate new hub ui toggles the new hub interface on or off for all users when disabled, the classic ui is shown activate new post overview toggles the redesigned post overview layout on or off for all users feature visibility controls what appears in the sidebar navigation sidebar pages can be individually toggled on or off post types (issues, dossiers, pages, media) each have a dropdown with three options option behavior in menu appears in the sidebar in settings accessible via the settings page only deactivated hidden entirely articles cannot be fully deactivated, but their submenu items (all articles, articles standard, custom post types) can be toggled individually when only one submenu item is active, it displays directly as "articles" without expanding menu order follows the current layout as baseline external linked pages always remain below settings custom menu buttons add custom navigation entries to the sidebar with a label and target url these appear below the standard menu items but above settings notes the page is available in english and german, following your current language setting these settings were previously spread across the purple ds hub settings and have been consolidated here the old toggles (issues, dossiers, pages, media, custom menu buttons, activate new hub ui, activate new post overview) have been removed from purple ds hub settings
