Configure TTS with Amazon Polly (generated by the Importer)
Purple Importer
TTS with Amazon Polly offers different languages and voices per spoken language. TTS with Amazon Polly can be configured in two ways, depending on your setup:
If you import your content with the Purple Importer, the configuration for the use of the text-to-speech (TTS) function takes place in the config.properties file, which is responsible for controlling the import via Purple importer SFTP upload and also controls the import of your issues. This article gives you the important insights for the setup.
If your content IS NOT imported via the Purple Importer, read Configure TTS with Amazon Polly (generated by the Post Processor)
The config.properties comes with a standard text-to-speech configuration by default. Usually, this configuration is done once, only during the initial set-up of the text-to-speech function. For editing the file, please use a code editor, like ‘Brackets’. Please search for the following properties to edit the Configuration. Learn more about the Amazon Polly properties
