Preview settings for Paywall content

In this article, you will learn about the options available to configure the preview settings in Purple Hub, to allow a preview of the content for unregistered users/in not purchased content, to view for free, before the paywall appears.
For articles and other post types, learn how to define what HTML should be published as preview before a paywall appears in the content.
For paid issues, determine how many articles inside a paid issue should be available for free, before the rest of the issue is blurred (behind the paywall) when scrolling through.
Use this settings to define how much content should be available before a paywall is displayed or/and how many articles inside a paid issue should be available for free.
To configure these settings, log in as an 'Administrator' and open in Purple Hub 'Settings' -> 'Purple DS Hub' -> 'Base Settings'
- Content block count for preview articles:Configure how many content blocks should be displayed as 'preview' for paid articles to unregistered users, before the paywall appears. In the screenshot above, this number is set to 1, this means that the first content block of the article will be visible as preview, when publishing a post.
- Full articles count in the beginning of preview articles:Configure how many articles inside a paid issue should be shown as a 'preview' before the rest of the issue will be displayed blurred to unregistered user/if the content isn't purchased. In the screenshot above, it is set to 2, this means that the first two issue articles will be rendered completely in the preview to be visible to the user.
You can access this field in the CatalogAPI by querying for previewContentHtml / previewContentBlocks.
