Test user management
Purple allows you to invite test users via email to access and test the preview version of your Purple App using personalised links. You can manage invitations and set validity periods in Purple Manager. The process sends download links directly to your test users. You can also track app downloads, manage invitations and set validity periods for test users in this section.
Before inviting users to test, make sure that the UDID of the user's device is stored in the provisioning profile of your Purple App for Preview. Otherwise, the user will not be able to install the app on their device.
- In the section 'App test users' you can manage all sent invitations and edit their validity period.
- Invite test users via email to download and test the preview version of your Purple App using a link
- Specify how long you want the test app download link to be valid.
- Enter the recipient's email address. If you want to add several users, you can separate them with commas, e.g: "[email protected],[email protected]" etc.
- Enter a title for the invitation email.
- You can add a personal message in the text box.
The test user overview is accessible through Three dots in the top menu -> App test users
- Overview of all test users that you have already invited
- Count of the Downloads of your test app to the users device
- Option to resend the invitation email, e.g. in case the link is not valid anymore
