Tracking Services

Summary

Purple can integrate various tracking services. The tracking services are defined for native Purple apps in the Purple Manager and for Purple Experience as stand alone web integration in the “experience.config.json” file.

At the technical level in the app, each of the integrated SDKs has its own API to send events to its backend.

In the graphics below you can see the part covered in this chapter:

Release Notes

Native Purple App

Purple releases its app-build templates for creating apps several times a year. Usually each new app-build template version updates the used SDK versions of all supported tracking services to keep it up-to-date (If a new version of the SDK has been released for the respective tracking service).

Are you interested in the used SDK versions in your built template? Then you will find this information in our Release Notes.

Purple Experience as SPA

Purple releases its Purple Experience several times a year. If needed Purple will update any Tracking Service to a newer version.

Overview

Below you can see the tracking services integrated by Purple. Due to the large differences in the configurations and the integration of the services in the app, each tracking service is described in detail in its own sub-chapter.
